Summary: Bathroom mirror did not light. We were told it would be fixed but no one came to do so. Toilet paper holder was broken. Housekeeping did not take away dirty dishes or replenish coffee, water, or bath amenities. For a hotel of this supposed caliber, this was disappointing.

Summary: The property and the area was very nice. The staff were friendly, though could use a bit more training. Our fire alarm low battery alert woke us up and kept beeping, which is not something we'd expect at a luxury property.

Summary: We had dined at The River House in the past year, but never stayed on site. Our room overlooked the Delaware River with a lovely balcony where we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The staff is welcoming , professional and happy to help. The location of the property is convenient to a short walk into New Hope, or a lovely stroll on the Tow Path.

Summary: The property is gorgeous! The service failures I'd overlook in a lower tier property warrant mention here. We made no complaints during our stay so this is objective. Upon check-in only two towels in the room (no washcloths or hand towels). Our room was only attended to once during our 4 night visit. The only evidence of this is additional towels and some chocolates appeared one day. The closet light fixture was annoyingly disassembled. There's a coffee/espresso machine in the room and multiple times we had to go to the front desk who's staff didn't seem to know how to acquire more. Finally hunting down housekeeping (daily) got us our coffee. Hospitality training could go a long way at the front desk as the employees themselves were friendly and energetic, just lacking knowledge. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and the piano player made for a memorable experience. This property is good choice in an area with few lodging options but don't expect five star service... Except for the valets! They are awesome and kept it classy even when berated by Karen's on Easter Sunday!
